Edward Barnard

Edward Barnard is currently the Data and Analytics Lead Scientist at Berkeley Lab, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as a Post-Doctoral Scholar and a Principal Scientific Engineering Associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2011 to 2015. Edward completed their PhD in Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University from 2005 to 2011, after earning a BS in the same field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005. They also gained experience as a Consulting Scientist at PLANT PV from 2011 to 2019 and worked as a Student Researcher at the University at Albany from 1999 to 2002.
