Esmond Ng

Esmond Ng has over four decades of experience in applied mathematics and computational research, currently serving as the Deputy for the Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division at Berkeley Lab since January 1999. Prior roles at Berkeley Lab include Senior Scientist, Deputy of the Computational Research Division, Head of the Applied Math Department, Head of the Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing Department, and Lead of the Scientific Computing Group. Prior to this, Esmond Ng worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 1985 to 1999 as a Senior Staff Member and Lead of the Computational Mathematics Group. Esmond Ng earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 1979 and 1982.
