Evan Johnson

Evan Johnson is currently a postdoctoral researcher and electrochemical engineer at Berkeley Lab, focusing on developing computational models for PEM fuel cells. Prior experience includes a role at EPFL, where Evan specialized in modeling the electrochemical conversion of CO2 to CO through electrolysis. As a PhD student at the Middle East Technical University, Evan worked on innovative solar receiver models for Concentrating Solar Power systems. Previous positions involved research and development at Aquanta Inc., Sutron Corporation, and various internships in marine engineering, solar water heating, and energy efficiency. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
