Fabio Ciulla

Fabio Ciulla is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Berkeley Lab since March 2022, with a notable background as a Senior Data Scientist at Quid from October 2014 to November 2021, where contributions included generating document summaries through network topology metrics, labeling latent topics for enhanced user interpretability, and predicting topical discussions during the 2016 presidential election. Prior to this, Fabio served as a Data Scientist, focusing on topic extraction and semantic network creation, and held the role of Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University and Indiana University, engaging in projects involving social media data for epidemic detection and network analysis. Fabio earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Northeastern University and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
