Faye Liu

Faye Liu is an undergraduate researcher at Northwestern University in the NSF CMCC x Materials Theory + Design Group since May 2025 and at Berkeley Lab in the Thermal Energy Group since September 2023. As President of ChemE Car at Berkeley, Faye has taken on multiple leadership roles, including Co-Internal Vice President and project management for lead-acid battery and electrochemical clock teams. In addition, Faye contributes to the UC Berkeley Society of Women Engineers by serving as Corporate Advisor and in various co-chair positions. Faye gained industry experience as a Materials and Sciences Laboratories Intern at Northrop Grumman in summer 2023 and as a Global Summit Intern in summer 2022. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, Faye is set to graduate in 2026, following a solid academic foundation from Mira Costa High School.
