Feng An

Guest Scientist, Energy Technologies Area, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Feng An, Ph.D., is a world-renowned expert in low-carbon transportation and energy innovation, serving as the Founder and Executive Director of the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) since 2006. They established iCET to accelerate the transition to zero-emission mobility and a clean energy future, fostering international collaboration in clean technologies. In addition to their current role at iCET, Feng mentors scholars at Tsinghua University Schwarzman Scholars and serves as a Guest Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Their past experiences include senior consulting roles with USAID and extensive research positions at major national laboratories and universities. Feng holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from the University of Michigan and is pursuing a Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Tsinghua University.
