Hiroshi Otani

Hiroshi Otani is a highly experienced computational biologist with a solid educational background and extensive research experience. Otani has held roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Joint Genome Institute and The University of British Columbia, where research was conducted from 2012 to 2016. Currently, Otani serves as a Research Scientist at both Berkeley Lab and the Joint Genome Institute since 2018, building on expertise developed during the postdoctoral fellowship. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, and additional studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
