James Bartholomew

James Bartholomew is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in both consulting and research. As the Owner and Chief Scientist of JCB Scientific Consulting, LLC since October 2010, James provides expertise to CBEP/DTRA in developing modern scientific programs focused on the One Health concept for countries of the former Soviet Union, aligning with WHO International Health Regulations. Additionally, James has held the position of Senior Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since March 1973 and previously served as a Senior Scientist at SAIC from March 2000 to October 2010. James also worked as a Faculty member in Comparative Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley from June 1980 to June 2000. James holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cornell University, earned between 1965 and 1971.
