James Lee

Computing Sciences IT Infrastructure Team Lead at Berkeley Lab

James Lee has extensive experience in IT infrastructure and systems management, currently serving as the Computing Sciences IT Infrastructure Team Lead at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since March 2012. In this role, James leads the team responsible for deploying and supporting IT resources, establishing technology strategies, and advising on technological solutions for the Computing Sciences Directorate and the Computational Research Division. Prior to this, James worked as a Computer Systems Engineer at the same laboratory from March 1998 to January 2012, focusing on architecture design and support for central email and LDAP systems serving thousands of users. James also has experience as a Programmer/Analyst at UC Davis from 1995 to 1998, where responsibilities included managing the central campus website and developing educational web resources. James holds a degree from the University of California, Davis, earned between 1990 and 1995.
