Nat Simons Presidential Chair In China Energy Policy, Staff Scientist

Jiang Lin is a prominent research professor and adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley since January 2018 and serves as the Nat Simons Presidential Chair in China Energy Policy and staff scientist at Berkeley Lab since 2016. With an extensive background in clean energy policy, Jiang has held leadership roles at the Energy Foundation from 2007 to 2016, including Senior Vice President of China Strategy and Analysis and Director of the China Sustainable Energy Program. Previously, Jiang worked as a staff scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 1994 to 2007 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Jiang Lin holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and both MS and BS degrees in System Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
