Kem Robinson

Kem Robinson has extensive experience in scientific and engineering project management, serving as a Senior Associate at Longenecker & Associates, Inc. since June 2020, where responsibilities include technical and managerial reviews and training. As an Independent Technical and Project Management Consultant since July 2019, Robinson also holds an emeritus position as Senior Staff Physicist at Berkeley Lab, contributing to research in laser-plasma acceleration and precision magnetic devices, among others. Previous roles at Berkeley Lab included Laboratory Project Management Officer, Interim Division Director for Projects & Infrastructure Modernization, and Interim Chief of the Projects & Construction Office, overseeing substantial construction and scientific project portfolios. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Technology at STI Optronics and project director for the Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. Kem Robinson holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Physics from Brigham Young University.
