Kenneth Ng is a research affiliate at Berkeley Lab, actively engaged in two groups: the Neaton Group, focusing on electron-hole phases in 2D heterostructures, and the Ultrafast NanoOptics Group, under the guidance of Ruishi Qi and Jeffrey Cui. Additionally, Kenneth collaborates with Dr. Luke Pritchard Cairns and Yuanqi Lyu at the Analytis Lab, studying many-body entanglement in quantum spin liquid candidate materials. Kenneth serves in various leadership roles within the Associated Students of the University of California and has experience as a Course Reader and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical, Applied, and Materials Physics at UC Irvine, Kenneth previously earned a BA in Physics and Applied Mathematics, along with a minor in Public Policy, from the University of California, Berkeley. Education also includes a Certificate of Achievement in Pure Mathematics from Ohlone College and a high school diploma from Washington High School.
