Kevin Nguy is an experienced Electrical Project Manager at Berkeley Lab since June 2020. Prior to this role, Kevin served in the US Navy from May 2013 to June 2020, where responsibilities included managing a significant annual budget as a Nuclear Officer Accessions Manager and mentoring numerous nuclear officer applicants. As a Submarine Division Officer, Kevin oversaw operations and maintenance of a nuclear power plant, leading a team of over 50 personnel. Early career experience includes a technical internship at Bechtel National Inc., where Kevin developed test procedures for submarine power systems. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Operations Management and Supervision from the University of Arkansas.
