Lauren Biron is an experienced science writer currently contributing to Berkeley Lab since September 2022. Prior to this, Lauren served as a communications specialist at Fermilab from July 2014 to September 2022, focusing on research, writing, and editing for press releases, multimedia content, and articles, as well as managing Symmetry Magazine's editorial team and social media presence. Additional experience includes freelance writing, editing for the Training and Simulation Journal at Gannett Government Media Corporation, and multimedia reporting for Medill News Service. Lauren holds an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University, a B.A. in Literary Journalism from UC Irvine, and a certificate in Sign Language Interpreting from Golden West College.
