Lazlo Paul

Lazlo Paul is an Associate Data Scientist at Berkeley Lab since August 2020, focusing on supervisory controls, semantic modeling, and interoperability within the Building Technology and Urban Systems Department. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Intern at Berkeley Lab, where evaluation of microgrid demand flexibility and exploratory data analysis was performed, and a Battery Engineering Intern at Imprint Energy, where data analysis scripts were created using Python. Lazlo also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Berkeley Lab, investigating electrolyte impacts on membranes for energy storage systems, and held research intern positions at iMicrobes and UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Lazlo earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2021.
