Leah Gibson

Leah Gibson is a data and air quality scientist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where responsibilities include building data pipelines and analysis tools for air quality datasets, applying machine learning for automated workflows, and developing visualizations for diverse audiences. As an affiliate scientist at Berkeley Lab, Leah contributes to DOE-funded research focused on snowpack dynamics and climate impacts in the Upper Colorado River Basin. Previously, Leah served as a research associate at Handix Scientific, leading data analysis for an extensive atmospheric research project. Leah's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Colorado State University, where Leah also worked as a graduate teaching assistant, instructing undergraduate mathematics courses for engineering and science majors.
