Liron Cohen

Postdoctoral Scholar

Liron Cohen is a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Lab, focused on molecular dynamics simulations of organic aerosol systems, investigating Fenton chemistry through kinetic modeling, and conducting flow tube experiments with DART mass spectrometry since January 2019. Previously, Liron served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2018 to May 2022, teaching various general chemistry courses and leading a team of graduate students as the head instructor for Chem4A. Liron's research experience began as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Toronto, where Liron developed an experimental set-up for real-time pH measurements in acoustically levitated droplets, emphasizing environmental studies. Liron is pursuing a PhD in Physical Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, with an expected graduation in August 2025, having previously earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2018.
