Lisa Schwartz has extensive experience in energy policy and research, currently serving as a Senior Policy Researcher and Strategic Advisor at Berkeley Lab since June 2014 and as Deputy Group Leader and Energy Efficiency Team Lead. Prior to this role, Schwartz was the Director at the Oregon Department of Energy from December 2012 to May 2014 and held a position as a Senior Associate at the Regulatory Assistance Project from 2009 to November 2012. Earlier career roles include Senior Analyst at the Oregon Public Utility Commission and Senior Policy Analyst at the Oregon Department of Energy, as well as Assistant Administrator for the Extension Energy Program at Oregon State University. Lisa Schwartz holds a Master of Science in Land Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University.
