Matthew McCloskey

Matthew McCloskey is a skilled professional in the engineering field with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently serving as a Scientific Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab since May 2022, Matthew has prior experience as a Commissioning Engineer at 35 North and as a CQV Engineer at PCI - Calibration, Commissioning & Consulting. Additional experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineering Intern at Ascent Bio-Nano Technologies and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Walker's microfluidics lab at North Carolina State University, where a novel magnetic sensing device was developed. Matthew's early career included positions in customer service and instruction at the Triangle Rock Club, along with various roles in event preparation and operations at other organizations.
