Nick Wright, an accomplished scientist in the field of computational science, currently leads the Advanced Technologies Group and serves as Chief Architect at Berkeley Lab since August 2009. Wright's prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at the San Diego Supercomputer Center from July 2005 to August 2009 and completing postdoctoral research in Semi Classical Mechanics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under Prof Nancy Makri from January 2001 to September 2004. Additionally, Wright conducted postdoctoral research in Theoretical Chemistry at the Fritz Haber Center for Molecular Dynamics at Hebrew University in the group of Prof R. Benny Gerber from January 1999 to December 2000. Wright holds a PhD and a BS in Chemistry, both from Durham University.
