Nicolas Ratier Werbin

Nicolas Ratier Werbin is a Machine Learning for Gravitational Lensing Researcher at Berkeley Lab, working under the guidance of Prof. David Schlegel since May 2023. Previously, Nicolas contributed as a Machine Learning for Gravitational Lens Modeling Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, collaborating with Nobel Laureate Prof. Saul Perlmutter from September 2022 to May 2023. Earlier experiences include a role as a Computational Neuroscience Researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem under Prof. Yoram Burak and an internship at VEnvirotech Biotechnology, where Nicolas developed a mathematical model for the production of PHA bioplastic. Academically, Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a double degree in Mathematics and Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
