Nushrat N.

ALS Doctoral Fellow

Nushrat N. currently serves as an ALS Doctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab, focusing on the X-ray Photoemission Electron Microscopy beamline. Concurrently, Nushrat N. is a PhD candidate and lab safety coordinator at the University of California, Davis, where responsibilities include managing chemical inventory and training lab members in safety protocols. Additionally, Nushrat N. has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Advanced Light Source, leading X-ray magnetic circular dichroism beamtimes, and has participated in various experiments at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory. Prior experience includes a lecturer position at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, teaching materials science subjects, and serving as secretary of the Material Advantage™ Student Program, organizing events to promote student engagement in materials science. Nushrat N. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering at the same institution.
