Paul Ashby

Paul Ashby is currently the Facility Director of the Imaging and Manipulation Facility and a Staff Scientist at the Molecular Foundry at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Ashby has been with Berkeley Lab since 2009 and previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship there from 2004 to 2008. They also founded and owned Scuba Probe Technologies from 2014 to 2019. Ashby earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from Harvard University between 1996 and 2003, following a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Westmont College from 1992 to 1996.
