Peter Nico

Peter Nico is a highly experienced professional in the field of energy geosciences, currently serving as the Director of the Energy Geosciences Division within the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area at Berkeley Lab since August 2005. Peter has held various leadership roles, including Senior Scientist, Deputy Director, and Program Domain Lead for Resilient Energy, Water, and Infrastructure. Additionally, Peter is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Peter's educational background includes a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Geological and Earth Sciences from Stanford University, a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a Master's and C.Phil. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA.
