Revati (Reva) Deshpande, PE, is a Building Decarbonization Researcher at Berkeley Lab, focusing on developing tools and resources for the US DOE's Better Climate Challenge program and promoting Demand Flexibility technologies in federal buildings. With a background in energy engineering, Reva has previously held roles as an Energy Policy Researcher for the US DOE's Energy Efficiency Standards program, and as an Energy Engineer at AESC, Inc. and Smith Engineering, PLLC. Reva's experience includes machine learning applications for building energy efficiency at Omdena, summer internships at BlocPower and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and research at Columbia University, where key contributions involved energy management projects and catalyst analysis. Academically, Reva holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, a Post-Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University.
