Robert Riley

Robert Riley is a Senior Data Scientist at Berkeley Lab, specializing in terabase-scale metagenome assembly and analysis, with a focus on developing new metagenome assembly products and applying artificial intelligence to large datasets. Riley's previous roles include Bioinformatics Scientist at Amyris, where contributions were made to synthetic biological engineering, and Data Scientist at Berkeley Lab, supporting interdisciplinary scientific projects. Additional experiences include positions at the Broad Institute, UCLA, Paracel, University of Washington, Chiron, Tularik, and University of California, Santa Cruz, with a strong research background in protein interactions and genome analysis.
