Ruby Barcklay

Ruby Barcklay is an accomplished marketing communications specialist with a wealth of experience spanning over three decades. Currently employed at Berkeley Lab since February 2020, Ruby supports the Intellectual Property Office and the Research Management Office, focusing on innovative research related to energy, environment, and health. Prior roles include serving as Communications Director at the Science Philanthropy Alliance, where Ruby enhanced philanthropic support for scientific research, and Director of Communications at the Climate Policy Initiative, where responsibilities included building the communications function for climate and energy policies. Ruby also held a Senior Vice President position at Fleishman-Hillard, managing corporate communications and reputation programs, and started as a PR Specialist at United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Ruby Barcklay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
