Samanvitha Murthy

Samanvitha Murthy is an accomplished Energy Policy Researcher at Berkeley Lab, with a diverse background in energy project development and analytics. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where Samanvitha facilitated a course on energy project development in sub-Saharan Africa. An internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory involved the implementation of machine learning techniques and the identification of key regulatory action points for integrating distributed energy resources. Earlier roles at BLP Clean Energy Private Limited and Bosch India provided expertise in IT analytics for renewable energy systems and software engineering, respectively. Samanvitha holds a Master's degree in Energy Science, Technology & Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and an Engineer’s degree in Instrumentation Technology from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
