Sarah Smith

Sarah Smith is an accomplished research scientist at Berkeley Lab, with a career spanning from October 2014 to the present, where responsibilities have included developing modeling frameworks for energy use and environmental impacts in manufacturing sectors. Previous roles at Berkeley Lab include senior scientific engineering associate, scientific engineering associate, and research associate. Sarah also contributed as a graduate research assistant at Berkeley Lab and worked as a graduate student instructor at UC Berkeley. Early experiences include internships with ERM, Bury+Partners, and a data entry manager role at the Center for ENT. Sarah holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
