Dr. Sean Peisert is a senior scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they lead research and development in computer security and privacy solutions. As an adjunct professor at the University of California, Davis, Sean teaches Computer Security and Privacy in Health Informatics while advising graduate students. They are also the Director of Trusted CI, the NSF Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, and have held significant roles in various cybersecurity initiatives, including serving as Chief Cybersecurity Strategist for CENIC. Sean earned a Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
