Steve Gourlay is an accomplished leader in the field of scientific research and development, currently serving as Principal CEO at PNTZ Consulting Group, LLC since March 2017. Gourlay has held various significant roles at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, including Director of the US Magnet Development Program since November 2015, and has been instrumental as Director of the Accelerator and Fusion Research Division since 2013. Gourlay’s tenure at LBNL also includes serving as Division Director from 2006 to the present and previously from 1997 to 2012. Additionally, Gourlay contributed to the international scientific community as Chair of the International Applied Superconductivity Community from 2002 to 2011. Gourlay earned an educational background from the University of California, Davis.
