Sven Steinke is an accomplished physicist with significant experience in research and leadership within the field of experimental physics and laser technology. Currently serving as CEO of Obstwiesenland gGmbH since April 2024, Sven has also held the position of Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab since May 2012, and previously contributed as a Research Scholar at the BELLA Center. From January 2021 to July 2024, Sven was SVP Head of Experimental Physics & Lasers at Marvel Fusion, and from January 2008 to December 2014, Sven coordinated projects on relativistic plasma dynamics and particle acceleration at the Max Born Institute in Berlin. Sven holds a PhD in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin and a Diploma in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin.
