Tim Chiang is currently a Project Scientist at Berkeley Lab, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Tim served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard University from September 2016 to August 2023, where a Ph.D. in Applied Physics was attained. Tim co-founded ClassConnect App, acting as the Android Tech Lead from May 2015 to January 2017, developing a smartphone application as part of a startup accelerator grant awarded by Boston University. Tim's experience also includes tutoring and grading assignments in various subjects at Boston University from December 2013 to July 2016, and conducting undergraduate research focused on synthesizing gold nanoparticles. Tim's early role at Boston University Physics Department involved leading instructional laboratories and recitation sessions for undergraduate physics courses. Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Boston University, completed in 2016.
