Weiping Huang

Weiping Huang, EIT, is an Associate Data Scientist at Berkeley Lab, where responsibilities include modeling and simulating HVAC systems and performing building sizing using EnergyPlus and OpenStudio. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Research Associate and Community Contributor for AmpLabs, contributing to open-source projects, and engineering experience with the UC Berkeley Solar Vehicle Team, where Weiping focused on hub assembly design and analysis. Additional roles included tutoring middle school students and intern positions in vendor services and sewer system projects. Weiping holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
