William Collins

William Collins is a Senior Scientist and Associate Laboratory Director at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, as well as a Professor in Residence at the University of California, Berkeley, where they have worked since 2007. They previously held the position of Senior Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research from 1997 to 2008 and served as a Research Physicist at Scripps Institution of Oceanography from 1992 to 1997. William earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Princeton University.
