Xiaochen Tang has extensive experience in research and engineering, currently serving as a Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab since February 2016, where roles have included Principal Scientific Engineering Associate, Senior Scientific Engineering Associate, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Prior to this, Xiaochen was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2013 to December 2015, focusing on indoor air chemistry and aerosol dynamics in the indoor microbiome. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Chemical & Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Riverside (2008-2013) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University (2004-2008).
