Zi Hao Foo is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, and serves as an Affiliate Scientist in the Materials Sciences Division at Berkeley Lab, both positions held since January 2025. Zi Hao has previously worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in Prof. Kim Tiow Ooi’s Group at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from January 2016 to May 2018, and as an Intern at A*STAR in the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology during May to August 2018. Zi Hao completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering and Computational Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2019 to August 2024 and also held the position of Young NUS Fellow at the National University of Singapore from August 2021 to July 2024 after earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
