James Teisl

James Teisl is a managing director at BRG, specializing in health care policy with extensive experience in Medicaid payment and financing. They previously held roles as a principal analyst at MACPAC and director at Berkeley Research Group, where they led projects on Medicaid and state regulatory matters. James began their career as a research analyst at the City of Baltimore Health Department and spent time as a senior consultant for both Nexera, Inc. and The Lewin Group. They earned a BA in Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and an MPH in Health Finance and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
