Leo Chan

Leo Chan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and investment. Currently serving as a Skydeck Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck since October 2017 and as a Mentor at StartX since July 2015, Leo is also a member of Sand Hill Angels, where involvement includes deal sourcing and portfolio management. Previous roles encompass significant leadership positions such as CTO at Xignite Inc, founding ConnectedWorld, and serving as CTO at Savvio.com. Leo's early career includes influential roles at Zip2 and Oracle Corporation, where major contributions were made in web-based applications and database product development. Academically, Leo holds an S.M. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
