Berkeley Yeast
Charles Denby is the Co-founder & CEO at Berkeley Yeast. Charles was previously a postdoctoral researcher in Jay Keasling Lab at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2013 to July 2017. Before that, they were a pre-doctoral cancer research fellow at National Cancer Institute (NCI) from July 2005 to July 2006.
Charles Denby began their educational career at The Bush School, where they completed high school. Charles then went on to Whitman College and obtained their BA in Biophysics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology. Lastly, they attended the University of California and obtained their PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
