Chris Connell currently serves as the AVP of Data Delivery at W. R. Berkley Corporation since October 2023. Prior to this role, Chris amassed extensive experience at Markel from August 2005 to October 2023, progressing through several leadership positions including Senior Director of Claims Operations and Director of Claims Operations and IT Audit. Earlier career experience includes positions as Senior IT Auditor and IT Business Analyst at Circuit City between 1999 and 2005, as well as a Staff Auditor role at Deloitte & Touche from 1998 to 1999. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Richmond, obtained in 1998.
