Berlin Research 50 is a network which includes almost all non-university institutes and centers in the Berlin metropolitan area. It is intended to facilitate coordination between non-university research institutions and to provide a central point of contact for cooperation with Berlin’s universities and for engagement with stakeholders in society and politics.

BR50 is drawing on the uniqueness of Berlin’s diverse science landscape to promote research and the pursuit of scientific knowledge. Together with the universities, Brandenburg´s research institutions and the public BR50 works to position the Berlin-Brandenburg area as one of the leading European metropolises in science, higher education, and development.
