Uki Deane

Uki Deane has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they began their career as a Sales Trainee at GL events. In 2011, they held internships at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies, Discovery Communications, and Alma. They also served as Producer at Duke University in 2011. In 2013, they worked as an Energy Efficiency Consultant at Intelliroof and as an Investor Relations at Adecoagro. In 2016, they founded Bermies. In 2021, they founded Plantarg.

Uki Deane attended Duke University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Markets and Management, Visual Arts, and Arts of the Moving Image. In 2011, Uki attended the University of Southern California's School Of Cinematic Arts, where they studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Uki also attended the National Outdoor Leadership School in 2009, where they earned an Outdoor Leader certification for the Australian Outback.
