Kasper Mäkelä

Kasper Mäkelä began their work experience in the golf industry as a Greenkeeper at Hiekkaharju Golf in 2011. Kasper then worked as a Greenkeeper at United Golf Group Oy from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they joined Suomen Golfkentänhoito Oy as a Greenkeeper for a brief period in 2017. In 2018, they became an Assistant Course Manager at Tuusulan Golfklubi and later took on the role of Course Manager from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, they became a Member of the Board at the Finnish Greenkeepers Association (FGA). Currently, they are serving as a Sales Manager at Berner, where they offer a wide range of turf industry products and assists clients with turf-related issues.

Kasper Mäkelä began their education in 2015 at Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, where they pursued a degree in Greenkeeper. Kasper completed this program in 2016, specializing in Sportsturf Management. Kasper then furthered their education at the same university from 2018 to 2020, studying to become a Head Greenkeeper and Golfcourse Superintendent. During this time, they focused on Sportsturf Management once again.
