Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an Embedded Systems Engineer at Bertec since March 2022, with prior experience as an Electrical Engineer specializing in Medical Devices at Battelle from November 2020 to May 2022. Previously, Michael held the position of Embedded Systems Engineer at Command Alkon from November 2018 to November 2020 and worked as an Electrical Systems Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, LLC for a brief period in 2018. Michael’s early career includes internships at Lexmark, Whirlpool Corporation, and Amsted Rail, where skills in sensor design, audio filtering process development, and controls engineering were developed. Michael holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Electronics from The Ohio State University, completed in 2017.
