André D. has extensive work experience in the field of information security and governance. André currently holds the position of Senior Director Corporate Information Security at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA since February 2022. Before that, André worked at OEDIV Oetker Daten- und Informationsverarbeitung KG, where they served as the Executive Manager Information Governance / CISO from July 2018 to February 2022, and as the Head of Network & Security Services / CISO from September 2013 to June 2018.

Prior to their time at OEDIV, André worked at Telefónica Germany Online Services as a Technical Lead / Information Security Manager from July 2011 to August 2013. André also gained experience at Telefónica Germany, where they held the position of Technical Lead / Internet Engineer from October 2004 to June 2011. André further started their career at MediaWays as an Internet Engineer from April 2001 to October 2004.

André D. completed their education from 2001 to 2004 at Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW), where they earned a Diploma in Informatiker with a specialization in Technische Informatik. André also holds additional certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership from Scrum Alliance, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) from ITIL Certified, and PRINCE2 Foundation from The Prince2 Academy.
