Gail Rebuck

Gail Rebuck currently serves as the Chair of Somerset House Trust and has been a Member of the Management Committee at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA since 2011. Additionally, Gail holds positions on the Board of Directors for both The Guardian and Penguin Random House. Since September 2014, Gail has been a Labour Peer in the UK House of Lords. Previously, Gail was Pro-Chancellor and Chair of Council at the Royal College of Art from 2015 to 2022 and founded Quick Reads during a tenure at The Reading Agency from 2006 to 2018. Gail also founded World Book Day Charity while working at WORLD BOOK DAY LIMITED from 1998 to 2004. Gail attained a Bachelor's degree in Intellectual History from the University of Sussex.
