Marc Bilstein

Marc Bilstein has a diverse work experience spanning various companies. Marc started their career at Siemens - Automation&Drives in 2005, working as a Technischer Service/Serviceleitstelle until 2009. Marc then joined Mazars Germany as a Senior Associate from 2009 to 2013. Marc then worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC Deutschland for two years before joining Arvato Systems GmbH as a Lizenzmanager/Prozessmanager from 2015 to 2017. Marc's most recent position is at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA, where they hold the roles of Head of Software Asset Management since January 2024 and previously served as the Senior Director Group Software Asset Management (Functional Lead)/IT Governance & Compliance from 2017 to 2023.

Marc Bilstein obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Hochschule Bielefeld from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a degree in IT-System-Elektroniker (IHK) with a focus on Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik from ATIW-Berufskolleg Paderborn from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their education, Marc has obtained various certifications in SAP Lizenzierung, IBM Lizenzierung, Microsoft License Professional (MLP), Lizenzmanager, and ORACLE Licensing Professional from different institutions throughout the years.
