Mathias Damaschke

Head Of Global HRIS Architecture, Corporate HR Strategy & Systems at Bertelsmann

Mathias Damaschke has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Mathias started their career as an Apprentice at Bertelsmann in 1998 and worked there until 2001. Mathias then served as a New Business Administrator at Book Club Associates for nine months in 2001. From 2003 to 2004, they interned in the Human Resources departments of Bookspan and Bertelsmann. In 2004, they worked as an Intern in Operations at Doubleday Australia for three months. Mathias rejoined Bertelsmann in 2005 and held various positions, including Program Manager for the Reinhard Mohn Fellowship and Senior Associate. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Director of Corporate HR Strategy & Controlling, responsible for global implementation and HR reporting. Since 2015, they have served as the Senior Director of Corporate HR Strategy & Systems, responsible for the architecture and operation of an integrated HR Suite for the company.

Mathias Damaschke completed their education at Anglia Ruskin University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Business Administration from 2001 to 2005. Mathias also attended The Berlin School of Economics and Law during the same period and received a Diplom in European Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Mathias has acquired various certifications in SAP product knowledge, including expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Legacy Reporting, People Analytics Story Reporting, Performance Management, Recruiting, Platform, and SAP Jam.
