René Raabe

René Raabe has a strong and diverse work experience in various companies and roles. René began their career as an intern at the Deutscher Bundestag, working in the Minister of State's office in the Federal Chancellery. René then gained experience in the banking sector with internships at Deutsche Postbank, where they worked in both the Treasury Department and Portfolio Management for Fixed Income and Credits.

Raabe then transitioned to consulting, first at PwC and later at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, where they worked as an intern and developed their skills in strategic consulting. René furthered their consulting career at Bain & Company, where they held roles as a Senior Associate Consultant and later a Consultant.

To broaden their expertise, Raabe moved into the technology industry, joining Infineon Technologies as a Manager of Corporate Finance. Here, they managed corporate finances and contributed to the growth and success of the company.

Seeking new challenges and opportunities, Raabe made a career move to METRO AG, where they worked in Strategy and Business Development. René played a vital role in shaping the company's strategy and developing new business opportunities.

Currently, Raabe holds the position of Director of Corporate Treasury & International Finance at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's treasury operations and international financial matters.

Throughout their career, Raabe has demonstrated a breadth of experience in finance, strategy, and consulting, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

René Raabe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Singapore Management University, which they obtained in 2011. In 2012, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Accounting from Goethe University Frankfurt. In 2013, René Raabe pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Chulalongkorn University. In 2014, they achieved a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Management from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. More recently, René Raabe has been pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, completing the Level 1 exam in 2017 and the Level 2 exam in 2019 through the CFA Institute.
